WHAT IS PAID FOR TRADES?
Our mission is simple: Be a purpose built workforce solution for the State of Iowa that solves a need for all stakeholders across the skilled trade industry.
For students - or entry level pursuers - PFT provides a free service to connect them with all opportunities across the skilled trade industries. This includes job shadows, internships, apprenticeships, educational programs, scholarships, and even full time jobs.
For those offering opportunites - like trade school programs or employers - it offers a chance to connect with these young people as they are making decisions regarding their future career or education. In many cases, this link can result in much more efficient placement then is currently available on the market.
We encourage all to browse our site for resources including benefits of careers in the skilled trades, information about local employers and schools, & an opportunity to connect directly with paths based on your skills and interests.
Paid for Trades is a networking tool for students, employers and schools. For students, it provides a free service to connect them with hands on, in-person exposure to careers in the skilled trades by sharing their unique talents and passions with nearby employers. For employers, it offers a chance to connect with these young people as they are making decisions regarding their future career or education. In many cases, this link can result in apprenticeships, job shadows or even scholarship opportunities between students and employers.
